Every year Mission43 conducts the 9/11 Miles of Remembrance 5K run on September 11th to honor and remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. This date also signifies the beginning of the Global War on Terror (GWOT) which many of our current and former military members supported.
Open to the entire community, this family-friendly run is held on the Boise River Greenbelt, offering an inclusive way for all ages and abilities to participate. This impactful event includes guest speakers and the Field of Honor, commemorating Idaho veterans who gave their lives in support of the GWOT. Enjoy the expansive social area, including food, music, and activities, creating space for community, reflection, and remembrance.
